What It Does: Thoughtfully formulated with sustainability in mind, this facial scrub exfoliates without using microbeads. Step 1 brings gentle physical exfoliation, and Step 2 provides a secondary exfoliation for a smoother, more illuminated complexion. In Step 1, polylactic acid acts as a gentle scrub and skin exfoliator to whisk away dead skin to help refine the complexion. In Step 2, the lactic acid activator provides a secondary exfoliation that leaves skin looking more even-toned. Carrot oil, known to protect the skin, delivers complexion-conditioning benefits. With this two-part exfoliation, skin is left softened and free from dullness and dead skin, revealing a bright, radiant complexion.

• Polylactic Acid, Benefit: Exfoliating. Polylactic Acid is a highly sustainable bio-fermentation material derived from corn starch. This gentle scrub and exfoliating agent whisks away dead skin and refines skin texture for a smoother complexion.

• Carrot Oil, Benefit: Moisturizing. Carrot Oil is known to protect skin while delivering moisturizing and softening benefits. It works within this formula to replenish the skin’s moisture barrier, keeping the complexion hydrated, softened, and soothed. 

• Vitamin C, Benefit: Antioxidant Rich. Vitamin C lends antioxidant properties to this brightening peel. 

• Lactic Acid, Benefit: Exfoliating. Lactic Acid acts as a secondary exfoliator in Step 2 of our Brightening Dual-Phase Peel.

How to use: Smooth Step 1 over your face, avoiding the eye area. Massage gently for up to three minutes. Mix Step 2 in your hands and massage onto your face over the peel. After one minute, rinse thoroughly with warm water. Use weekly.
